A Safe Transition to Self-sufficiency

Stable housing is foundational to long-term success. In addition to our emergency shelter, we provide long-term housing to at-risk youth and young families who have nowhere else to turn.

Our temporary housing program is designed to help unattached young adults and young families succeed by removing the anxiety and daily struggle of surviving without a stable home. Through the program, Synergy provides furnished apartments along with case management, therapy, life skills training, education and employment support to help clients become self-sufficient within 18 months.

If you are a young person between the ages of 16 and 21 without safe, stable housing, complete this application to be considered for our temporary housing program. If you do not have access to a computer or printer, you can complete an application at our Youth Resiliency Center at 2001 NE Parvin Road in Kansas City, MO.
