Domestic Violence Center  


Client Advocate FT-Candidate will be responsible for advocacy and crisis intervention services for clients and implementing daily activities while providing a safe, structured, therapeutic environment. Other responsibilities include completing intake interviews, answering hotline, safety planning and facilitating community building activities with our clients as needed. Prior experience working with survivors of domestic violence preferred. Having knowledge of community resources a plus. Bilingual Spanish-English preferred. Tuesday 2:00p-10:00p


Wednesday 2:00p-10:00p


Thursday 2:00p-10:00p


Friday 2:00p-10:00p


Saturday 2:00p-10:00p

Positions require Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.  BS in social services preferred. Prefer prior experience in a social services agency. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, consent to a Fingerprinting and Background and checks and Children’s Division (Central Registry/Child Abuse) screening, drug screen check and have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Position requires CPR, and Chauffeur’s License within 30 days from date of hire.
