Domestic Violence Center Backup Workers

On-call position one, 7 on-call shifts (6PM to 6AM) are required a month.– Candidate will be responsible for working immediate open shifts on assigned on-call scheduled dates or picking up open shifts on the monthly schedule. 

Backup Workers on-call position two, 3 on-call shifts (6PM to 6AM Sunday through Thrusdays) are required a month in addition to an on-call weekend rotation every 5 weeks.

On shift, candidate is responsible for implementing daily activities and providing a safe, structured, therapeutic environment. Prior experience working with survivors of domestic violence preferred. Having knowledge of community resources a plus. Bilingual Spanish-English preferred. Positions require Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. BS in social services preferred. Prefer prior experience in a social services agency. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, consent to a Fingerprinting and Background and checks and Children’s Division (Central Registry/Child Abuse) screening, drug screen check and have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Position requires CPR, and Chauffeur’s License within 30 days from date of hire.
